Machine Operator

Employment: Full Time
Hourly Rate: $36 - $38 per hour

We are on the search for a full-time Machine Operator, whom will be responsible for fabricating components to be installed into vehicles ensuring the functionality and reliability of each component.Using Heavy Machinery, this role must interpret drawings, adjust machine settings to provide a component that is as per the drawing ready for installation into a vehicle.

Experience operating CNC machines is required for this position.

Key Accountabilities
Fabrication

- Use machines to fabricate material to specifications/ drawings
- Operate machinery as per the manufacturer's instructions

Picking
- Pick the correct material to use for fabrication as per specifications/ drawings
- Utilise material to get the optimum yield• Make area manger know if the raw material is not up to standard before use

Staging
- Place finished products into the correct location as per the specification in the quantity that was requested

Drawings and Specifications
- Work with Area Manager, Colleagues and Engineering Team to ensure drawings and specifications are correct and contain all relevant dimensions in order to complete the task.
- Work with Area Manager to give feedback to fabricators who make parts incorrectly and require rework.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry or a blue-collar environment.
- High standards of personal and professional hygiene.
- A strong understanding of the importance of quality requirements and attention to detail.
- Strong team player.
- The ability to think outside the box and suggest new ways of working that would support business operations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Advanced time management skills.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a full-time Warehouse Pick Packer to join our busy St Marys warehouse team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and process warehouse stock accurately
- Ensure correct iterms and quantities are prepared for dispatch or production.

Warehouse Operations

General Duties

We're now seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to play a key role in managing complex procurement activities, including overseas supply with scope to take on broader responsibility.

The Role:Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Senior ProcurementOfficer will play a critical role in managing strategic sourcing activitiesacross vehicle components and raw materials. You will work closely withengineering, production, quality, and finance teams to ensure cost‑effective,compliant, and reliable supply to support on‑time bus production.This role suits a commercially astute procurementprofessional with experience in manufacturing, automotive, rolling stock, orheavy engineering. 

Key Responsibilities: Production line with over 7,000 individual items, essential that items arrive on time to avoid any delays in production Collaborate     with engineering and production teams on BOM alignment, technical sourcing, and supplier qualification Manage long‑lead and critical components to support production schedules Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities across local and international suppliers Drive cost reduction, negotiate commercial outcomes that deliver value and mitigate risk Identify and manage procurement and supply risks, particularly within overseas sourcing Contribute to accurate monthly reporting and procurement insights Monitor procurement schedules and proactively resolve issues Support ESG, modern slavery, and local content reporting requirements 

About You: You are a confident, hands‑on procurement professional whounderstands the realities of manufacturing environments and complex supply chains.

Essential requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain roles within manufacturing or engineering
- Strong experience negotiating commercial contracts and managing suppliers
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
- Sound understanding of BOM‑driven procurement and change control
- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills

Highly desirable:

- Experience in bus, truck, automotive, rail, or defence manufacturing
- ERP/MRP experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
